Hi, I'm Angela Corley! I grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating from UT my career has mostly been focused in Marketing & Business Development for the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
Almost five years ago I adopted a kitten from a local cat rescue and was so enamored by what a great thing they were doing I promptly decided to volunteer. Although I have owned and loved animals all of my life I had no idea that there was such a thing as pet rescue. I certainly never thought I would learn as much as I have through this experience. Within a year, a few other women and I formed our own non-profit organization and began operating as New Beginnings Cat Rescue. Today I am the President of our rescue and am very thankful for all of our volunteers and our success. I wanted to apply all of the knowledge and experience I have obtained over the years and pet sitting seemed like a natural fit.
In addition to my fostering experience with New Beginnings Cat Rescue, I have volunteered at a veterinarian’s offices and a low cost spay/neuter clinic, am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, have worked with special needs pets (and adopted a few :-)) and maintain a feral cat colony in Dallas. I am a responsible, dedicated and passionate person who will be looking after your pet as if it were my own. Thank you for considering Whisker Watchers Pet Sitting.
My name is Stacy Soileau. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and received my degree in Veterinary Technology in 2001. After two years of working at a private veterinary clinic and one year of working at a high volume spay/neuter clinic, and doing animal rescue on the side, I realized my true passion was rescue. I am involved in trap/neuter/release for feral cats, and maintain multiple feral cat colonies in my area. I’m also a volunteer foster for both cats and dogs, and a board member for New Beginnings Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue group.
With my love for companion animals it only made sense to put my experience and passion to good use through a pet sitting service. Whisker Watchers pet-sitting is a wonderful way for me to help out other people with their pet needs while maintaining my involvement in rescue work. Among my own special needs furry friends are two 3-legged cats and another with a broken jaw. I’ll be happy caring for and spending quality time with your pets, and comfortable medicating them if needed. My aim is to give your pets loving care in the stress-free environment of their own home while giving you peace of mind.
